Unfinished Projects and incomplete communications are the norm in business, and many professionals get into such conundrums because they don’t know how to say No. By nature you are polite and wish to please, so saying Yes to a colleague's request is natural, when deep down you needed to say No so you can go on with your core projects. Saying No is not a selfish act, it is part of managing your time and projects efficiently – and yes you can say No politely and thoughtfully.
