The power of Listing Xchange... Please wrap your mind around this...

Dear Real Estate Web and Blog Strategists…

Leveraging the Web goes beyond your individual endeavors; seeking the participation of colleagues creates leverage beyond the ability of one’s ego and desires…

So humor me and your Long Term Strategy and let’s all of try this… (this really works…)

Purpose:

1. Visibility for all your listings…

2. The realization that all of us don’t compete against one another – but really against the entrenched successful competitors who have had a few years of the internet to themselves… (well at least until we arrived…)

3. The realization that the largest market we can offer our clients right now is the Internet and Google…

If you choose to participate you have to have an alamode website and promise to do what is listed in this to-do list… you will benefit your listings and clients by benefiting your fellow realtors… (these look like many arcane steps but they are so easy…)

Note: Before I go ahead and share with you this powerful idea you must know that I am not affiliated with Alamode… it just happens that alamode has a Listing Xchange utility that allows you to share your listing along as large network and in doing so create Google and Search Engine Visibility that extends beyond the limited visibility of one Realtor… (bottom line our clients get the Google Juice they all need… and deserve!!! Higher Visibility = Higher possibility for a sale…)

4. Make sure you have an alamode website…

5. Enter your Listings in Alamode and Make sure you select “Listing XChange” and select ”Share this listing with my Listing XChange partners” and “Share this listing with my Broker's XSite”

6. Go to your wizard under the “XSite” Button, then to “My Content” – Click on Tab named “Listing”.

7. Click on the Button at the Bottom called “Add Listings Page”

8. Name the Button Page “My Colleagues Listings” and in the Web Address type: “my-colleagues-listings”

9. In “Filter by Status” select from the drop down “For Sale”

10. Then put a check mark on the 3 boxes that follow… these are the boxes that create the exchange…

11. In the Search Engine Tools Select all four boxes starting with “Submit this page to search engines.”

12. Click “Save and Close”

13. You are now back to the “Listing” Panel of the Wizard…

14. At this point put a check mark next to “My Colleagues Listings” then click the “Save” Button above.

You are now done with this phase of your Listing and Page Visibility…

The next Phase is the validation and Linking Phase…

Before you send me your validation email make sure that “My Colleagues Listings” Page appears in your navigation… if it does not try the procedure again or realize that if you a have a free website and you can only have a few links and therefore you either delete a page and make this one available or choose not to participate until you are ready to have a full website with alamode!!!

In order to be validated I will need you to send me the following:

15. Your Website Address, City, and State.

16. You Title or market description – such as: “Wilmington NC Real Estate for Sale – Exit Realty Wilmington.”

17. A short description about what you do and your specialty and do include your Cell or Agency Phone Number.

18. Email me (key@realestatewebtrainer.com) so I can verify you have done your part.

19. I will add you to a Page called “Listing Xchange Colleagues” (http://www.realestatewebtrainer.com/listing-xchange-colleague)

You are now to exchange listings with the right agents and agencies:

20. Visit http://www.realestatewebtrainer.com/listing-xchange-colleagues

21. Each person or agency will be added in a sequence.

22. You can select those you want to share listings with and then go to your alamode website.

23. Click on “My Office”

24. On the left hand Side slide until you see “Listing XChange Partnerships”

25. Click on ”Manage My Partnerships”

26. Click on “Create Partnership”

27. Type the City and state of the person or broker you wish to exchange listings with and send a request.

28. An email will be sent and those who login to approve you in their Listings XChange will become shared listings…

Visit (http://www.realestatewebtrainer.com/listing-xchange-colleagues) once in a while or respond to emails sent to you and you will create the largest visibility for your listings with colleagues. Those who participate will benefit; those who think the internet is a personal endeavor will get to be right about being isolated…

Please understand that participation or not has no larger meaning in your Real Estate Career… just one added avenue that can create power – think Craigslist…
