In this blog I introduce a simple ‘How to Video’ that shows you how to create a Hyperlink in a Word Document.

Some of you maybe asking why did you pick Word – well most agents tend to use it as a safety net since it comes built-in with a Spell Check and Grammar Check. So why not start with something that most Real Estate Agents use before we go on to more organic platforms on the internet. My vision is to encourage all Real Estate Agents embrace the internet and start blogging methodically – many of them want to but think that making a Hyperlink is “Techy-ish”  – it really is Not…

It is so so simple…

Here is the video of me walking you through the steps… (I reference Steve Manley’s Website as an example – but this works no matter what Website Platform you happen to use.)

So what is a Hyperlink?:

A Hyperlink, commonly known as a Link, is a word, group of words, or image that you can click on to jump to a new document or a Web Page.

When you move the cursor over a link in a Web page, the arrow will turn into a little hand.

Here are the steps of creating a Hyperlink: (So so Easy!!)

Copy the Destination URL (Web Address) or Ctrl-C

Highlight the text or Object you with to Link

Launch the Hyperlink Manager of Ctrl-K

Paste in the address bar the link you copied or Ctrl-V
